Cat Bug

A sick story for a sick ring. A few days before Christmas we were all on a high, having just finished the Ha Giang loop (best time of our lives), on a big bus journey down to Cat Ba. A lad that we had travelled with for a few days was pretty ill on the bus, but we just thought he was travel sick – little did we know he was infected with the plague. On Christmas eve I woke up feeling pretty rough but didn’t let that dampen my spirits. After food and some drinks, I pretended that I was going back to the hostel to put some makeup on and freshen up. I had no intentions of coming back out because I was feeling dodgy. Got back to the hotel but I’d forgot Noah had the key. I had to wait in reception with a Vietnamese lady, our conversation being held back by language barriers and the fact I was going to vom all over her nice white reception. I made it to my room with literally no time to spare and spent all of Christmas in the worst way possible (I'll not spell it out for you but I know you know what I mean). You can't win them all.. When you travel in Asia, you’ve got to accept a few bad bellies to go along with the good times - we all know what we've signed ourselves up for.
