The Cu Chi tunnels in Vietnam was one of the most insightful and graphic excursions I've ever been on. We had a guide that educated us on the tactics used by natives during the Vietnam war. From throwing chilli all over the jungle to confuse the sniffer dogs, to making chambers and chimneys that would hide cooking while underground for weeks. Not to mention the punji traps and ambush tactics.. It really made you understand the phycological terror the guerillas inflicted on the US troops. Terrifying stuff.
