Like any true Brit we have to dedicate at least one ring name to taking the piss out of the French. If you’ve been to Asia, you will know that a restaurant bringing out a table’s food all at the same time is not high on the list of priorities. Because of this, nobody tends to wait before they tuck in. Except “the French”. Once, while waiting for an hour, a couple we ate with kept insisting that French people wait for everyone’s food to be brought out before eating. Only this time it ended up with them finding out that the person's meal they were waiting for hadn’t even been ordered. Only the French could turn politeness into pretentiousness, best leave over the top manners to us Brits and our ridiculous queues ;). (P.s during our trip we met so many great French people, we don’t dislike them all..).
