Sitting in the dark waiting for the sun to rise over Angkor wat listening to a podcast on the creation of Angkor wat (shout out to A Short History Of!), sounds strange but honestly one of the highlights of the trip. If you know the podcast you will understand the deep purr of the presenters voice alongside the sky turning purple / pink revealing a magnificent 1400s temple, was absolutely dream like. If you head to the gallery you’ll be able to see a picture. But keep in mind I took this on my Samsung S20, so it won’t do it justice at all.
